We’ve all been there: it’s the first day of school, or your first day back to work after vacation, and you open a new notebook with the very best of intentions. You promise yourself that you’ll write delicately, you’ll draw margins on every page… But in the end, it still lies in a creased, dog-eared pile at the bottom of your desk.

If you’re here to replenish your notebook supply – hoping that this one, at last, will be the pristine, carefully maintained notebook you’ve always dreamed about – then here are some of your best options.

As soon as you purchase a notebook on Zazzle, you should probably enter these instructions at the front and back, because they’re the nuts and bolts of using Zazzle.com. In four simple steps, we’ll show you how to create your very own notebook, as well as how to master our world-renowned design tool.

• Step 1: Start on custom notebooks. Notebooks are rather easy to design – it’s usually just a square- or rectangle-shaped template – so this’ll make for a good tutorial.
• Step 2: Select the type of notebook you'd like to design. The top few are our standard ‘Spiral Notebook’ options, but you can also upgrade to our heart-shaped notebooks and Moleskine ®-branded covers.
• Step 3: Click ‘Add Text’ or ‘Add Image’ to enter Zazzle's design tool. You could add the name of your subject or module if you’re ordering school notebooks, or some images from your social media account if you’re looking for photo notebooks.
• Step 4: Finalize your design & add your new notebook to the cart! ‘The cart’ is that icon that looks like, a, well, cart, and you’ll see it at the top-right corner of your screen.

That’s a good question, but we do have some ideas. For example, you might be able to pull a prank or two with our funny names notebooks; maybe there’s someone in your household that’s usually referred to as ‘The Boss,’ and they deserve a notebook in recognition of this fact! Most notebooks are for school, so you could add a sample of your writing to the back cover, impressing your teacher with finely designed composition notebooks. Although, if we’re honest, we think most school notebooks should be Disney notebooks. We’re just putting that out there.
